Written-translation credentials are direction-specific, so each quote must use the exact direction and current availability must be confirmed by the live workflow or manual review.

What this service or guide covers
Choose the source language from the document itself and the target language requested by the receiving body. For many Australian administrative tasks the target is English, but this should be confirmed from the recipient's instruction rather than assumed.
Do not treat a translator listed for English into another language as automatically credentialed for the reverse direction. NAATI runs separate Certified Translator testing and credentials for each available direction.
The directory reflects selectable labels in the current LodgeHQ quote form. It is not a public roster, translator-count claim or guarantee that a particular language, direction, credential or deadline is available.

Identify the source script
Similar spoken varieties can use different written standards or scripts. Use the language label that matches the document and add clarification in notes.
Confirm the target language
Ask the recipient which language is required; do not assume English if the document is for a non-Australian use.
Separate mixed-language sets
The quote workflow handles one source-to-target pair at a time. A second source language needs a separate quote.
Provide name spellings
Names may have more than one Romanisation. Share passport or established recipient spellings before the translator begins.

Does LodgeHQ guarantee a translator for every language listed?
No. The list shows current selector labels. Availability, approved direction and document suitability are checked when you request a quote.
Can the same translator work both directions?
Only if their official credential and approved LodgeHQ profile cover both directions. One direction should never be inferred from the other.
What if I do not know the source language?
Do not guess in checkout. Request manual help with a clear image and any known country, script or issuing-authority context.
Can I upload documents in two source languages together?
Use separate quotes for separate language pairs so each document can be matched to the correct credential direction.
