Quote methodology

NAATI translation pricing

LodgeHQ prices the documents you actually upload rather than publishing a universal per-document figure. The quote considers the files, page count, source and target languages, document complexity and the timing options available. If the system cannot price the work reliably, it offers a manual-quote path instead.

Upload your actual documents and language direction. You will either receive current quote options or a manual-review route before purchase.

Direct scope

What this service or guide covers

A useful translation price must correspond to the actual scope. A one-page identity card, a multi-page academic record and a handwritten legal document do not require the same amount of work even if they share a language.

The quote workflow first checks file type, language direction and document characteristics. It can return multiple timing choices for suitable work or request contact details for manual assessment when the document falls outside the automatic path.

No dollar figure, tax label, surcharge or refund promise on this information page overrides the current total, order summary and terms presented in the transaction flow.

CustomerUpload the complete scope, choose the correct language direction and review the total and timing shown before payment.A customer estimate of pages or complexity is not the final platform quote.
LodgeHQAssess the uploaded scope, return an available quote path and show the transaction amount before checkout.LodgeHQ does not promise that every document will receive an automatic price or urgent option.
TranslatorReview accepted job details and complete the agreed translation scope. The translator does not set or change a customer's paid order through this information page.

Before you begin

Requirements and what to prepare

Upload the complete job

Include every file, page and side that needs translation. Adding material later can change the scope and require a new assessment.

Keep one language pair per quote

Documents in a different source language need a separate quote so they can be matched to the correct credential direction.

Use readable source files

Low-quality scans, handwriting and cropped content can prevent reliable automatic analysis and move the job to manual review.

Bring the recipient instruction

Special output or certification requirements should be identified before purchase, not assumed after delivery.

Qualified sequence

How the process works

  1. 1

    Customer

    Provide files and direction

Upload the documents and select the source and target languages. The system validates the basic inputs before pricing.

  2. 2

    LodgeHQ

    Assess the document bundle

The quote workflow evaluates page and file scope, document characteristics and whether automatic pricing is appropriate.

  3. 3

    LodgeHQ

Return an instant or manual path

Suitable jobs receive current selectable options. Uncertain or complex jobs can be referred for human review instead of receiving an invented figure.

  4. 4

    Customer

    Review the transaction details

Check the displayed total, timing, language pair and files before paying. Save the order details for your records.

Quote variables

Price and turnaround factors

The quote or job screen is the authoritative place for the current amount and available timing. This page does not publish an unverified rate, tax treatment, cut-off or delivery guarantee.

Factors that may affect price and turnaround
FactorWhy it mattersWhat to do
Total translated pagesMore source content generally requires more translation and review work; page ranges can also affect the quote method.Upload all pages rather than entering a rough count.
Number of documentsSeparate certificates or files can each require document handling and certification even within one language pair.Bundle only documents that genuinely belong in the same quote.
Language directionTranslator credential direction and current marketplace availability differ by pair.Choose the direction shown by the source document; do not assume the reverse direction is equivalent.
Complexity and legibilityTables, handwriting, specialist terminology, damaged text and unusual layouts can require manual assessment.Upload the clearest version and explain unusual content in the notes.
Requested turnaroundOnly the timing choices returned for that bundle are available for selection; faster work may have a different total.Compare the current options after upload rather than relying on a generic deadline.
Recipient-specific outputA paper original, affidavit, special certification or other requirement may fall outside the normal digital translation scope.Confirm the requirement first and request manual review where necessary.

Important checks

Acceptance, evidence and limitations

  • Treat the final transaction screen as the authoritative current price for the uploaded scope.
  • Confirm what is included before paying; do not assume postage, special legal certification or later-added files are included.
  • Read the current terms for cancellation, refund and dispute conditions rather than relying on an informal pricing summary.
  • Consumer-facing prices must be clear and accurate; the ACCC source below explains Australia's price-display rules.

Frequently asked questions

Why is there no universal price list on this page?

A generic figure can be misleading when page count, file count, language direction, complexity and timing differ. Uploading the scope produces a relevant current amount.

Will every upload receive an instant quote?

No. The workflow can send documents that cannot be assessed reliably to manual review rather than display an unsupported price.

Does selecting urgent guarantee delivery by my deadline?

No page-level guarantee is made. Use only the option shown for your order, provide the real deadline and read the order terms before paying.

Can I add another language after paying?

A different language pair requires different credential matching and should be quoted separately.
