LodgeHQ Translations is an Australian-developed, owned and operated platform that connects individuals, migration agents, and businesses with NAATI-certified translators across the country. We are not a translation agency — we are a fixed-price marketplace, where every job is priced upfront, paid for at booking, and accepted on a first-come basis by the next available NAATI translator.

Who we are

LodgeHQ Pty Ltd (ABN 52 696 192 677) is an Australian company. The platform was built by people with years of experience working alongside NAATI translators, migration practitioners, and visa applicants — and who saw a clear gap between rigid agency pricing and the long, friction-heavy quote-and-compare cycle that smaller translation jobs don't deserve.

Every certified translator on the platform holds a current NAATI credential and is identity-verified before they can accept jobs.

How the platform works

  1. Upload your document. Choose source and target languages and drop in your file. We auto-read the document to detect type and page count.
  2. See your fixed price.Three tiers — Standard (3 days), Express (2 days), Urgent (24 hours). The price is locked: no quotes to chase, no back-and-forth.
  3. Pay in one tap. Apple Pay, Google Pay, or card via Stripe. Your account is auto-created from your email so you can track the order from any device.
  4. The first matching translator accepts. Every NAATI-certified translator on the platform with the right language pair sees your pre-paid job; the first to accept it owns it. Most jobs are claimed within minutes.
  5. Translator delivers; you approve. Receive the certified translation, request revisions if needed, and approve. Funds are released to the translator within 48 hours of your approval.

How we earn revenue

LodgeHQ takes a 15% platform fee plus 10% GST on that fee (16.5% total) from each completed translation. The price you see at checkout is what you pay — the fee comes out of the gross, and the translator receives the rest. We only earn when a translation is delivered, which keeps our incentives aligned with both sides of the marketplace.

What we do not do

  • We do not translate documents ourselves.
  • We do not run a queue, a roster, or an assignment algorithm beyond first-come-first-served — translators choose which available jobs to take.
  • We do not sell, share or use your documents for any purpose other than facilitating the requested translation.
