Written translation and interpreting are different credential functions. For a LodgeHQ document job, the evidence must support written translation in the exact direction requested; an interpreter-only credential or fluency claim is not a substitute.
NAATI currently describes Certified Translator as the certification available for translators and separately explains recognised-practising credentials for languages where testing is unavailable. Applicants should enter the exact current credential name and direction shown in their official NAATI record rather than a legacy label or an assumed reverse pair.
The initial public form collects CPN, credential level, certificate files, language directions, a professional summary and rate preferences. It does not promise identity approval, job volume, acceptance speed or a payment outcome. LodgeHQ may request further evidence during review; do not upload unrelated identity records unless the platform asks for them through an authorised channel.

Is a CPN enough to be approved?
No. The CPN must connect to suitable current translator evidence and the exact direction requested, and LodgeHQ still reviews the platform application.
Can I add the reverse language pair?
Only when your official credential evidence supports that written direction and LodgeHQ approves it. Do not infer reverse eligibility.
Does an interpreter credential qualify me for document translation?
Not by itself. LodgeHQ document work requires evidence supporting written translation, not only spoken interpreting.
Will approval guarantee jobs?
No. Job supply and matching vary with customer demand, approved pair, scope and other operational conditions.
